Extraordinary Insights: "Think big, but plan out the milestones along the way. There is a long lag between all the hard work you put in and the success you see six months or a year down the road. So it's important to identify the milestones and biggest indicators of success, and celebrate those along the way, whether it is a partnership or a new sale - you've got to celebrate the little ones." |
RateHub founder Alyssa is a serial entrepreneur. While in university, she launched her first start up, Break Into Business, a week-long summer camp teaching business fundamentals to kids. Upon graduating from Queen's School of Business, Alyssa spent the next two years at Bain & Company consulting in US financial services. There she was introduced to mortgage websites that empowered consumers to make smart financial decisions. Her entrepreneurial mindset and eye for opportunity directed her to the under-served online mortgage market in Canada.
When not navigating the day-to- day operations at RateHub.ca, Alyssa can be found chasing the wind with her kite board in hand.
